Overview

The Kit Box is an essential utility structure used to craft and assemble deployment kits for all LF PowerGrid devices. All LF PowerGrid devices start as holdable kits that must be crafted in the Kit Box before they can be deployed. This allows for flexible base building and modular expansion of your electrical system.

How It Works

  1. Place the Kit Box anywhere in your base (no power required)
  2. Interact with the Kit Box to open the crafting menu
  3. Select the device kit you want to craft
  4. Provide the required base materials
  5. Craft the kit, which becomes a holdable item
  6. Carry the kit to the desired location and deploy it

Kit Workflow Example

1. Place Kit Box in base
2. Interact with Kit Box
3. Select "Ceiling Light Kit"
4. Confirm crafting
5. Receive Ceiling Light Kit (holdable item)
6. Navigate to desired location
7. Place/deploy Ceiling Light
8. Connect to power and enjoy lighting

Tips

  • The Kit Box doesn't require power, so place it in a central, accessible location
  • Collect and stockpile the materials needed for kits you plan to craft
  • Kits are holdable items, allowing flexible transport and placement timing
  • You can craft multiple kits and store them before deploying
  • Keep your Kit Box in a secure location to prevent theft of crafted devices
