Overview

The Remote Controller is an autonomous handheld RF (radio frequency) device that requires no grid power—it operates independently with its own internal power source. The device features 2 independent buttons, each with dedicated LED indicators to show transmission status. It communicates wirelessly with compatible RF-enabled switches (SwitchRemote, SwitchV2Remote, Intercom) at a range of 200 meters. Unlike grid-powered devices, the remote controller can be carried in inventory and used from anywhere without wiring infrastructure, making it ideal for mobile bases and remote automation needs.

How It Works

The Remote Controller is a self-powered RF transmitter that requires no grid connection or wiring. Simply hold it in your hands and press one of the two buttons. Each button transmits an independent RF signal that can be paired with compatible grid-mounted RF switches. The RF transmission range is 200 meters, allowing base control from across the map or from distant outposts.

Each button has its own LED indicator that lights up during transmission. The controller can pair with multiple receiver devices, enabling comprehensive wireless base control. Unlike momentary wired switches, the remote controller is perfect for mobile teams that need to control infrastructure without being physically present at the control point.

LED Indicators

  • Button 1 LED: Lights when Button 1 is pressed (transmission active)
  • Button 2 LED: Lights when Button 2 is pressed (transmission active)

Control your mobile base or remote cabin from anywhere within 200m—no return trip needed. The Remote Controller transmits wirelessly.

Tips

  • The 200m RF range is impressive—test pairing to ensure devices stay within operational distance.
  • RF signals penetrate obstacles and walls, making remote control reliable even in heavy fog or storms.
  • Each button operates independently, allowing two separate control channels from a single device.
  • Pair Button 1 with critical systems (door locks) and Button 2 with convenience systems (lights).
  • The remote uses its own internal power—no grid consumption, no batteries to maintain on the grid.
  • Ideal for team leaders who need quick emergency shutdown access without managing bulky wired panels.
  • Combine with Intercoms for voice communication + wireless device control in one inventory slot.
